Sock Progress
Thursday, 19 February 2009
I am so proud of my sock and it’s not even done yet. It’s kind of hard to see in the photo, but I turned a heel!
I was making real progress and then after a rough day I was rushing through dinner preparations and I nearly cut the tip of my left pinkie off. No joke. Those Henckels knives are something serious. I will spare you a photo of that, although I did take one.
Fortunately I did not need stitches.
Unfortunately, my knitting has come to a screeching halt due to the injury, but I hope to be back on the needles soon. I’ve already ordered sock needles in sizes one through four because I fear I have caught the sock knitting bug.

VERY nice! I’d like to join you in this endeavor soon…I’m trying to be intrigued, rather than intimidated, by my friend’s commentary upon knitting her first socks: “It’s like knitting with dental floss and toothpicks.”
