Tap…tap…is this thing on?

Dear Blog,

Please pardon my absence.  I really was having fun with you.  But then my camera broke.  After we shopped around for a few weeks, The Daddy Monkey and I decided on the Canon G10.  I love it.  So I was very excited to start taking photos of all the holiday crafts I made.  But then my computer stopped working.  (Who has ever heard of a full hard drive?  Well, mine was actually full.)  I was able to finagle some technical assistance from The Daddy Monkey, but the computer is still unhappy.

On top of it, The Daddy Monkey has been off all week, and our dear friend R is in town from NYC,  and while it is absolutely wonderful having them around, things have been a little…errratic.  So please forgive me for abandoning you so soon after we met.  I really do like you.  Alot.  And I hope we can become better friends soon.  I promise to show you all of the fantastic things I made in the last few weeks, but right now I’m still trying to get my computer (and my life) back up to speed.
